Contract or agreement

Independent contractor agreement

Version 1 (current) · effective Oct 12, 2026

The agreement as the crew signed it (wording 2026-10-06-draft).

You work for yourself

You are an independent contractor, not an employee of BundleHood Inc. You decide whether to accept each job we offer, you bring your own tools, and you carry your own insurance.

Nothing here creates an employment, partnership or joint venture. You are responsible for your own taxes; BundleHood reports what it pays you on a 1099 at year end.

Jobs and pay

Each job is offered with its description, address, time and the agreed pay. Accepting a job in the portal is your agreement to do that job as described.

Pay for finished jobs is sent through Stripe to the account you set up, on the schedule BundleHood publishes. Extra work needs the office's approval before it is done.

Doing the work

You do the work carefully, to code, and to the standard a homeowner would expect. BundleHood guarantees its jobs — if a customer asks for a redo on your job, you make it right.

You keep the customer's home, belongings and information private. You never ask a BundleHood customer to hire you directly.

Checks and records

You agree to a background check through our vendor, which asks for your written consent first, and to keep your insurance and any licence current while you work with us.

Either side can end this agreement at any time with notice to the other; jobs already accepted are finished or handed back to the office.
